• Route. From a reconstructed Pioneer Trail intersection (California), proceeding south between existing Echo and Fern Rds., turning east onto Montreal Rd., passing to the south of Village Center, continuing along existing Montreal Rd. and Lake Pkwy., ending at new two-lane roundabout at existing US 50/Lake Pkwy. intersection (Nevada). Option. US 50/Lake Pkwy. remains as signalized intersection, upgraded for modified lanes.
• Roadway. Four 12-ft. travel lanes, 8-ft. shoulders, turn pockets at major intersections and driveways. New signalized intersections at Heavenly Village Way and Harrah’s Rd.
• Pedestrian Bridge. Over new US 50 alignment near California/Nevada border, connecting Van Sickle Bi-State Park to Stateline area.

Commercial Core “Main Street”
• Modifications. Between Park Ave. and Lake Pkwy., existing US 50 reduced to one lane in each direction with landscaped medians and left-turn pockets at major intersections and driveways. Bike lanes and sidewalks added and/or upgraded.
• Jurisdiction. Relinquished to City of South Lake Tahoe, California and Douglas County, Nevada.
Wider Stateline Ave.
• As Part of Alternative 2. Between existing US 50 and Pine Blvd., widened to one lane in each direction with two-way-left-turn lane and sidewalks. Right-of-way exists for widening, but two California businesses with improvements within public right-of-way would be impacted.
• Optional Variation. Stateline Ave. and Lake Pkwy. north widened to two lanes in each direction with no two-way-left-turn lane. Lake Pkwy. can accommodate with restriping. Stateline Ave. has sufficient right-of-way for four lanes, but two California businesses with improvements within public right-of-way would be impacted.
