Effective Dec. 28, 2017 through Jan. 1, 2018
There will be NO service to Lake Tahoe Community College and College Way bus stops.

From December 29 - 31, 2017,
Route 53 will NOT serve stops along Al Tahoe Blvd. or Johnson Blvd. Normal operations will resume on January 2, 2018.

The District has updated its Passenger Policies and Procedure effective March 22, 2017.

Track your bus with New Mobile Phone App!
The District has contracted with Swiftly to allow real-time tracking of all bus routes with a mobile phone app or through their website.  The app can be downloaded through the Apple App Store or Google Play or viewed on-line here.

Transit Service Route Changes - effective Oct. 2, 2016

The Tahoe Transportation District suspended Route 21x and changed service on Routes 19x, 20x, and 23.  Please view revised schedule by Lake and Valley Express to the right.

South Shore Services

The South Shore area's coordinated transit system includes local fixed-route bus service and commuter bus service connecting the area with Carson City and the Carson Valley. The system also includes winter ski shuttles, summer trolley service to Emerald Bay, and summer bus service from Incline Village and Stateline to Sand Harbor.
