
The South Lake Tahoe area's coordinated transit system includes South Shore fixed-route service, the seasonal Nifty 50 Trolley, seasonal ski shuttles and commuter bus service to Carson City and the Carson Valley. The Tahoe Transportation District also provides ADA paratransit and on-demand service within the City of South Lake Tahoe, northern El Dorado County and western Douglas County.
Fares - Passengers pay for each one-way trip, with general fares for ages 19-59 and discount fares for youth (ages 5-18), seniors (age 60 and older) and persons with special needs or disabilities. 10- and 20-ride express tickets, monthly passes and day passes are also available. Route Maps and Schedules - Extended Service for 2011-12 New Year's Eve - You can leave the driving to BlueGo. Additional buses will be running from 8pm to 2am.
