General Fare Policies:

  • The cost per one-way ride is based on the length of your trip. Travel within any zone is considered a local trip; travel between zones is a regional trip.
  • Fares are paid for each one-way trip. Exact fare is required; drivers carry no cash and are unable to provide change.
  • Regional day passes, regional monthly passes and the 10- and 20-Ride tickets can be used on any South Shore or Valley and Lake Express route.
  • The $3.00 On-Call fare is only available to: persons aged 60 or older, Medicare or Medicaid card-holders, or those with a valid Special Needs or ADA credential.
  • The discount local zone a nd regional 1-way fare applies to: persons eligible for the $3.00 On-Call fare, plus youths between 5 and 18 years of age.

Free trips are allowed as follows:

  • On the Ski Shuttles.
  • For Personal Care Attendants. (Must accompany qualified rider and actively assist them with their trip.)
  • Persons transferring from TART to Route 30.
  • Persons transferring from the AMTRAK service with transfer issued no more than 1 hour prior to boarding. Local routes only.
  • Children aged 4 or under in the company of a caretaker.

JAC or DART transfers are accepted on the Valley and Lake Express routes for one trip within the local zone, or to take a regional trip for half price. Valley and Lake Express transfers are accepted as full fare on both JAC and DART.

Políticas Generales de las Tarifas:

  • El costo por viaje de ida se basa en la duración de su viaje. Viajes dentro de una zona se considera un viaje local; los viajes entrediferentes zonas es un viaje regional.
  • Las tarifas se pagan por cada viaje de ida. Se requiere una tarifa exacta, los conductores no llevan dinero en efectivo, solamente cambio exacto.
  • Los pases de un día, pases regionales y las entradas 10 y 20 puedenser utilizados en cualquier ruta de South Shore, Valle del Lago y Vía Express.
  • Latarifa de $3.00 dólares es solamente disponible para: personas mayores de 60 años o más, titulares de tarjetas de Medicare, o Medicaid, o aquellas personas con Necesidades Especiales validas o con una credencial de ADA.

Los viajes gratis son permitidos solamente en:

  • Los autobuses de esquí.
  • Para los asistentes personales. (Debe acompañar a un pasajero elegible y ayudarle durante su viaje.)
  • Las personas quese van a transferirentre las rutas TART y 30.
  • Las personas quese están transfiriendose del Amtrak. Es buena por una hora antes del embarque. Solamente para rutas locales.
  • Los niños de 4 años o encompañía de un adulto.

Transferencias entre JAC y DART son aceptadas en el Valle del Lago y las rutas Express para un viaje dentro de una zona local, o se puede hacer un viaje regional a mitad deprecio. Las transferencias del Valle del Lago y Express son aceptadas con una tarifa normal en ambos JAC y DART.
